Eat Nuts to Prevent Wrinkles
We all know that nuts such as almonds, walnuts and peanuts contain high amounts of heart healthy fats. There is reputed to be so much fat in a Brazil nut that you can actually light it. However, apart from the fact that this fat is extremely beneficial fat (although still fat, so don’t go overboard), nuts also contain huge amounts of antioxidants. Antioxidants are what you need to fight the free radicals in your system – toxins that attack your body and cause it to age, which in turn leads to a loss of elasticity in your skin. Apart from their free radical busting qualities, they also replace hormones that are lost as you get older. Your body actually stops making certain hormones after you reach a certain age, around thirty-five, and by eating a cup of nuts every day you will be putting back these lost hormones. This will allow your body to function as if it were younger and delay the appearance of those much hated wrinkles.
